Sidney Nolan

Sidney Nolan is a unique artist because his artworks are really distinctive and interesting. He uses exclusive theme in his artworks and there are many thing which are inspired him, for instance Ned Kelly. It is very fascinating to see Nolan’s artworks because his works are really different with another artists. In my sketch up model, I make an effort to build Sidney Nolan art’s gallery in unique shape and I tried to convey a sense of art in it. I chose the triangular shape because the shape looks interesting and the combination between the triangular shape and circle shape unites well. The material which is suitable for Sidney Nolan’s art gallery is brick, wood, or glass.

Ricky Swallow

Ricky Swallow mainly use skeleton in his artworks. In his artwork “Everything is nothing”, he emphasizes the strangeness by using skull to convey the meaning of hard, strength, and energy. In my google sketch up models, I try to express Ricky Swallow’s artwork into the building that I construct. I made the rough texture for the exterior, and I made a little bit smooth for the interior as the texture of a skeleton. The materials which is suitable for the building is concrete, because it can communicate with the artworks.
